Summer Brugby Recap

Look, we get it. Your letters to the editor have been received and quickly discarded. It’s been awhile since the esteemed editors of The Nose have put together the sterling publication you have come to rely on for all things Old Gaelic. Here’s a recap of the what your favorite rugby club has been up to the last few months.

  • The Old Gaelic-powered Central Penn 7s took 5th in MAC. The Mid-Atlantic once again proved to be the best conference in the country, sending four teams to Nationals, including the now two-time National Champions. Central Penn proved to be a competitive, scrappy bunch with a bright future. The 7s program had enough depth to sustain two teams, as Old Gaelic competed in the EPRU Club Division and secured third place.
  • Cappy, Diegel, Jase and JT “Found Away” to secure the Championship at the 2023 World Hoops Championship. This win was secured without controversy.
  • A dominant OGREs squad won the 2023 Atlantic Cup. A fresh wave of new/old talent proved too much, as the OGREs avenged last year’s Championship loss and secured the Kick/Boogie Board.
