
As Old Boys clashed with Older Boys in the planning of 50th Old Gaelic’s 50th Anniversary events tempers needed to cool, and compromises needed to be made.
“I WANT HOOPS FORMAL BANQUET PIG ROAST HALL OF FAME HOMECOMING TOUR VIDEO HOMAGE HIGHLIGHT PACKAGE AND CHEESE,” various Old Gaelics aged 36-68 yelled at each other over meats and ales.
“There were different visions in mind, for sure,” explained the cool-headed five-decade try-scorer Jeff “Cappy” Cook.
“At the end of the day, we need to make sure everyone gets what they wanted, and everyone’s going to have a lot of fun,” said longtime Gaelic Captain Curtis Brillhart. “After all, fun times and winning ruby has what has kept us going for 50 years.”

6/19: Jubilee Day. Not technically a 50th Event, but it’s our 50th year, and some of us will have off for free for Juneteenth. So fuck it, let’s make it a big one. Same tent, same location.
